Rep. Lloyd Smucker, who represents Pennsylvania’s 11th district in the U.S. Congress, used his social media account to highlight recent tax relief measures and promote opportunities for local students.
On April 15, 2026, Smucker posted: “It’s Tax Day, and Pennsylvanians are averaging $3,511 in tax cuts across the state thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts and @HouseGOP for providing meaningful relief for families. PA-11 families deserve to keep more of what they earn.”
The following day, on April 16, 2026, he commented on legislative votes: “Every Democrat voted AGAINST: No Tax on Tips No Tax on Overtime The LARGEST middle-class tax cut in history Republicans delivered for hardworking Americans. Democrats voted against them.”
Also on April 16, Smucker addressed students in his district interested in military service academies: “PA-11 students interested in serving our country, don’t miss the chance to join my team TONIGHT to learn more about the nomination process for our nation’s Service Academies. Lloyd Smucker has represented Pennsylvania’s 11th District since 2017 after replacing Joe Pitts. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the Pennsylvania Senate from 2009 to 2016. Born in Lancaster County in 1964, Smucker currently resides there at age 59.
