Senator Kristin Phillips-Hill, a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, recently shared updates on local infrastructure projects, regulatory reform efforts, and constituent services through her social media account.
On September 3, 2025, Phillips-Hill relayed information from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) regarding upcoming railroad maintenance in Springettsbury Township. She wrote, “PennDOT announced today that East Penn Railroad is scheduled to replace a railroad crossing on Stonewood Road (Route 2017) between Gartner Lane and E. Market Street (Route 462) in Springettsbury Township.” The announcement signals planned improvements to local transportation infrastructure.
Later that day, Senator Phillips-Hill highlighted her participation in a policy discussion focused on state regulations. In a post dated September 3, she stated, “Grateful to be part of a panel discussion hosted by @AFPPennsylvania on regulatory reform in PA. We’ve made real progress, but there’s more to do. The #PASenate passed the REINS Act, sponsored by @SenatorKeefer, to rein in costly regulations. Let’s keep the momentum going!” The REINS Act aims to provide legislative oversight over major regulatory actions taken by state agencies.
On September 4, Phillips-Hill informed constituents about an outreach event designed to assist residents with state-related concerns. She posted: “My team will be at York Area United Fire and Rescue today from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. to assist local citizens with any state-related issues.”
Phillips-Hill represents parts of York County in the Pennsylvania State Senate and has been active in supporting both infrastructure development and government transparency initiatives within her district.
