Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Empire Beauty School-Hanover

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Empire Beauty School-Hanover, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $17,000 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 97 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 25 students received grants or scholarships totaling $105,460 and 30 students took out student loans totaling more than $246,183.

Including all undergraduates (74), 50 students used grants or scholarships totaling $198,317, and 53 students took out $428,597 in federal student loans.
