About 23.1 percent of the 965 degrees and certificates handed out by York College of Pennsylvania in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in York conferred 214 bachelor's degrees and 8 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in registered nursing/registered nurse. Data shows the school gave out 101 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse, followed by 70 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management and 59 bachelor's degrees in criminal justice/law enforcement administration.

The college enrolled 4,317 students for 2017-18, including 4,050 in undergraduate programs and 267 in graduate programs.
