Crossroads Middle School recently issued the following announcement.

Drugs 101: What Parents Need to Know

Starting 2/24/2022 at 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM

Event Groups:

• West Shore School District - District Events

Description:

The District is hosting a special workshop for parents, guardians, staff, and other members of our school community to help adults start those difficult and effective conversations with our kids!  This FREE, two-hour program, presented by Byrnes Health Education and sponsored by the West Shore Foundation, will focus on the signs, symptoms, and current trends relative to the use of tobacco/vaping, alcohol, marijuana, inhalants, heroin, and synthetic drugs by teenagers. Additionally, to assist adults in identifying how teens may hide substance use, a mock bedroom will be set up with drug and alcohol paraphernalia. EVENT SPONSORSpecial thanks to our program sponsor, the West Shore Foundation, for funding these presentations and enabling us to offer them at no cost to our school community.

EVENT DETAILSThree sessions are being offered with the same information being discussed each night. Please feel free to attend whichever evening best fits your schedule.  Drugs 101: What Parents Need to KnowAdult Only Presentations
