Rep. Lloyd Smucker, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 11th district since 2017, recently shared several tweets on various topics of interest to his constituents and the broader public. Born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Smucker has a background in state politics, having served in the Pennsylvania Senate before joining Congress.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Smucker acknowledged the efforts of local organizations dedicated to environmental improvement. He wrote: "Many organizations like the Lancaster Farmland Trust and the @AllianceForBay are doing great work in our community to improve water quality. Thanks for a great discussion!"

The following day, March 6, 2025, he expressed support for fiscal responsibility at a national level by endorsing remarks made by former President Donald Trump regarding budgetary concerns. In his tweet, Smucker stated: ".@POTUS @realDonaldTrump is right, let’s balance the federal budget and address our $36 trillion and growing national debt! This deserved a UNANIMOUS standing ovation!"

On March 7, 2025, Rep. Smucker extended gratitude towards fellow Congressman Mike Simpson for his support with a brief message: "Thanks for your support, @CongMikeSimpson!"
