WellSpan Hospitals celebrated the arrival of the first babies born in their facilities on New Year’s Day 2026.
At WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital, Zoey Skye Lynn was delivered at 12:30 a.m., weighing 5 pounds, 15 ounces and measuring 19.25 inches. Her mother is Katelyn Lutz from Cornwall.
At WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital, James Lee Fisher was born at 1:40 a.m., weighing 7 pounds and measuring 19 inches. He is the son of Elizabeth Fisher of Newburg. Another baby, Derwyn Cedric Eby, was born at 5:32 a.m., weighing 6 pounds, 10 ounces and measuring 18.5 inches. His mother is Kimberly Eby of Clear Spring, Maryland.
Earlier that morning at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, Tateum Conners was born at 4:15 a.m., weighing 4 pounds, 7 ounces and measuring 19 inches. She is the daughter of Emma Allwein of Lebanon; her father is Jackson Conners.
WellSpan operates six labor and delivery units across nine hospitals in the region, including locations in Chambersburg, Ephrata, Lewisburg (Evangelical Community Hospital), Gettysburg, Lebanon (Good Samaritan Hospital), and York.
