Cost of college went up for all students at York College of Pennsylvania

Tuition and fees rose 3.4 percent for 2018-19 at York College of Pennsylvania, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $20,100 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $670 more than the $19,430 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 989 students received grants or scholarships totaling $9.4 million and 767 students took out student loans totaling more than $6.7 million.

Including all undergraduates (4,317), 3,688 students used grants or scholarships totaling $30.2 million, and 2,873 students took out $18.7 million in federal student loans.
