Rep. Kate Klunk of Hanover has officially commenced her sixth term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives after taking the oath of office on Tuesday. Klunk will continue to represent the 169th District and assume the role of Republican chair for the House Children and Youth Committee during this session.

Klunk's agenda for the 2025-26 Legislative Session includes efforts to reduce business regulations, oppose unnecessary tax hikes, and enhance living conditions for children and families across Pennsylvania. Her legislative mission focuses on creating an efficient, fiscally responsible state government that prioritizes its citizens' needs.

"Every session presents its challenges, but I am energized to continue representing my constituents in southern York County," said Klunk. "As always, I am proud to carry their voices from the district to Harrisburg. I am also particularly excited to serve the Commonwealth’s children and families in a new capacity this session. I’m ready to get to work."
