Senator Kristin Phillips-Hill of York County has announced her committee assignments for the 2025-26 legislative session. Her roles reflect a focus on key priorities for residents of southern York County.

Phillips-Hill will take on the position of Vice Chair for the Senate Communications and Technology Committee. This role will enable her to continue efforts in providing reliable, high-speed internet access and advancing cybersecurity practices in the region. Additionally, she will be part of several other committees: Senate Banking and Insurance, Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure, State Government, and Appropriations.

She remains active with the Pennsylvania Broadband Development Authority, which is responsible for approving over $1 billion in projects aimed at improving internet connectivity across Pennsylvania this year. Furthermore, she continues as chair of the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee, focusing on identifying efficiencies within state government operations. Phillips-Hill also maintains her involvement with the Legislative Data Processing Center to support online services provided by the General Assembly.

“From ensuring government transparency and protecting consumers to promoting economic growth and careful stewardship of taxpayer dollars, I look forward to working with my colleagues to make our communities and Commonwealth stronger,” stated Phillips-Hill. “I am honored to serve on these committees, which provide an opportunity to tackle the issues that matter most to our neighbors.”

In addition to these responsibilities, Phillips-Hill serves as Majority Caucus Chair where she plays a significant role in guiding legislative discussions.

The Senate is scheduled to reconvene on Monday, January 27th at 1 p.m.
