Rep. Lloyd Smucker, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania's 11th district, has recently shared several updates via social media. Smucker, who has been serving in Congress since 2017 after succeeding Joe Pitts, used his platform to express gratitude for support from colleagues and highlight his legislative efforts.
On January 24, 2025, Rep. Smucker acknowledged the support he received from fellow Representative Nancy Mace with a tweet saying "Thanks for your support, @RepNancyMace!".
The following day, on January 25, 2025, he expressed pride in his pro-life voting record during the 118th Congress by stating "I am proud that my pro-life voting record in the 118th Congress has earned an A+ rating from Susan B. Anthony List. I will continue to defend the lives of unborn."
Later that day, Rep. Smucker addressed child welfare concerns through legislation aimed at improving staffing and retention issues within child welfare services. He shared on social media “Child welfare advocates have sounded the alarm for years about staffing...
