Rep. Lloyd Smucker, a U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania's 11th district since 2017, has recently shared several updates on social media regarding local achievements and legislative efforts. His posts highlight community development, legislative support for small businesses, and personal tributes to veterans.

On January 31, 2025, Rep. Smucker congratulated Tec Centro on their tenth anniversary. He acknowledged the bilingual career education and workforce development program's expansion from its original location in downtown Lancaster to York, Harrisburg, Lebanon, and Reading. "Congratulations to Tec Centro, SACA’s bilingual career education and workforce development program, on their 10th anniversary! I’ve visited their downtown Lancaster facilities, and now they have expanded to York, Harrisburg, Lebanon, and Reading."

On February 1, 2025, he expressed gratitude towards his Pennsylvania Republican House colleagues for cosponsoring the Main Street Tax Certainty Act. This legislative effort aims to assist small businesses both within Pennsylvania and nationwide. "Grateful that all my Pennsylvania Republican House colleagues have cosponsored the Main Street Tax Certainty Act, to help small businesses in the commonwealth and across the nation thrive!"

Later that day on February 1st, Rep. Smucker celebrated the centennial birthday of Mr. Robert Kemp from Delta. Mr. Kemp is recognized as a World War II Navy veteran belonging to what is often referred to as "the Greatest Generation." Rep. Smucker met with him personally to extend birthday wishes and share remarks entered into the Congressional Record honoring his service."HAPPY 100th BIRTHDAY to Mr. Robert Kemp of Delta! Robert is a World War II Navy veteran and truly a member of our Greatest Generation."
