Rep. Kate Klunk of Hanover has officially begun her sixth term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. The oath-taking ceremony took place on Tuesday, marking another chapter in her legislative career. Alongside representing the 169th District, Klunk will assume the role of Republican chair for the House Children and Youth Committee during this session.

Klunk's agenda for the 2025-26 Legislative Session focuses on reducing business regulations, opposing unnecessary tax hikes, and enhancing life quality for children and families throughout Pennsylvania. She aims to ensure that state governance remains efficient and fiscally responsible while prioritizing citizen needs.

"Every session presents its challenges, but I am energized to continue representing my constituents in southern York County," Klunk stated. "As always, I am proud to carry their voices from the district to Harrisburg. I am also particularly excited to serve the Commonwealth’s children and families in a new capacity this session. I’m ready to get to work."
