Manheim Township issued the following announcement on May 22.
The Manheim Township Commissioners are seeking candidates to fill a vacant position on the Board of Commissioners. Candidates shall be a resident of the Township for at least one year prior to the appointment; and be a registered elector of the Manheim Township. By statute the position will run through December 31, 2021.
Resumes should be submitted to Sean P. Molchany, Township Manager, 1840 Municipal Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601 or via email to smolchany@manheimtownship.org. Resumes will be accepted for the position until 12:00 p.m. June 10, 2020.
The current Board will conduct interviews of candidates during their regularly scheduled meeting on June 15th, with the expectation of the swearing in of the appointee at the June 22, 2020 meeting.
