City of York issued the following announcement on July 23.
The following events will affect vehicular traffic and prompt street closures in the City of York.
Saturday July 24th
On Saturday July 24th, the event “Festival of Life” will close Maple Street from Alladin Avenue to Girard Avenue from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday July 31
On Saturday July 31st, the event “Back to School Neighborhood Event” will close Hope Avenue between Queen Street and Miller Lane from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Sunday August 1
On Sunday August 1st, the event “York HUB Day of Community Love” will close Pershing Avenue from Market Street to King Street from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
National Night Out
Tuesday August 3rd
On August 3rd, King Street will be closed from Pine Street to Edgar Street from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
On August 3rd, Madison Avenue will be closed from Roosevelt Avenue to Hartley Street from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
On August 3rd, Penn Street will be closed from Market Street to Mason Avenue from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
