State Rep. Kate Klunk (R-Hanover) and Rep. Mike Jones (R-York Township) are teaming up to host a free spring document shredding event for residents of the 169th and 93rd Legislative Districts. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Shrewsbury Township building in Glen Rock.

"I am happy to once again provide an opportunity for my constituents to safely dispose of documents containing their personal information, like their Social Security number, credit card information and more," expressed State Rep. Kate Klunk, emphasizing the importance of protecting personal information to prevent scams and identity theft.

Similarly, Rep. Mike Jones highlighted the significance of the event, stating, “This timely shredding event will provide residents the perfect opportunity to do some spring cleaning.” Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to securely dispose of paperwork containing sensitive or personal information to safeguard their privacy and account details.

The event is exclusively for residential customers, with a reminder to remove paper or binder clips before shredding (staples are permitted). For inquiries regarding the event, individuals can contact Klunk’s office at 717-630-8942.

Residents of the 169th and 93rd Legislative Districts are urged to participate in this important initiative led by State Rep. Kate Klunk and Rep. Mike Jones to enhance privacy protection and prevent identity theft.
