LOGANVILLE – As part of ongoing efforts to promote road safety and provide accessible state government services, Sen. Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York) will host a combined license plate replacement and car seat safety check event for motorists in York County.

Following successful events in other parts of the county, this free initiative will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at the York Pennsylvania State Police Station in Loganville Borough.

“Ensuring our vehicles are road-ready and our children are safe is a top priority for every motorist,” Phillips-Hill said. “This event offers a one-stop opportunity for residents to address two important safety concerns—making sure your license plate is legible, and your child’s car seat is correctly installed. I encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to help keep our roads safer for all.”

Date:               Wednesday, Sept. 4

Time:                 5-7 p.m.

Location:          York Pennsylvania State Police Station, 101 N. Main St., York, PA 17403

Criteria for Eligibility:

Law enforcement officials will be on-site to inspect plates and determine eligibility for replacement. Assistance will be provided to fill out the necessary forms, which will be hand-delivered to PennDOT. Replacement plates will then be mailed directly to residents at no cost.

Certified technicians will also be available to inspect car seats, provide guidance on proper installation, and ensure they meet current safety standards. This service is provided to help keep children safe while on the road.
