Rep. Lloyd Smucker, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 11th district since 2017, has recently issued a series of tweets showcasing his engagements and greetings. The tweets, dated April 12 and April 13 of 2025, provide insight into his recent visits, well-wishes for cultural celebrations, and communication efforts with constituents.

In an April 12 tweet, Smucker praised Union Community Care's work. He expressed appreciation for the opportunity to visit their newly renovated Water Street location in Lancaster, which recently expanded to include dental care and a pharmacy. He extended thanks to President and CEO Alisa Jones and Chief Community Impact Officer James Reichenbach for their efforts and contributions to the community.

On the same day, Smucker shared a festive greeting "Chag Pesach Sameach" to those observing Passover, acknowledging and joining in the celebratory spirit of the holiday. This reflects his engagement with and recognition of diverse cultural events within his representational district.

The following day, on April 13, Rep. Smucker announced in a tweet that the latest edition of his e-newsletter would be sent out later that day. He encouraged individuals to sign up to receive the latest news and updates delivered directly to their inboxes, highlighting his efforts to maintain open communication with constituents.

Lloyd Smucker, born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in 1964, has served in the U.S. Congress since 2017 after replacing previous U.S Congress member Joe Pitts. Prior to that, he was a member of the Pennsylvania Senate from 2009 until 2016. Smucker continues to live in Lancaster, strengthening his ties to the local community.
