York College of Pennsylvania issued the following announcement.
A rendering of the future Springettsbury Apartments
Construction is beginning on Springettsbury Apartments, which will be located along Springettsbury Avenue between the Gordon Center for Jewish Student Life and Springettsbury House.
This new apartment complex, set to open in Fall 2021, will feature 20 apartments with 79 rooms. Each apartment is designed in response to student input and will include single bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and kitchens with a dishwasher.
Students who are 21+ years old will be able to consume alcohol in Springettsbury Apartments. The complex will have onsite permit parking for residents, laundry facilities, CCTV surveillance, and security fencing with gates.
