HARRISBURG AREA COMMUNITY COLLEGE: HACC to Hold First-Ever Virtual Commencement Ceremony

Harrisburg Area Community College issued the following announcement.

WHO: HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, will virtually celebrate the remarkable achievements of its spring and summer 2020 graduates, and students eligible to graduate in the fall 2020 semester

WHAT: HACC’s first-ever virtual Commencement ceremony

WHEN: Dec. 15, 2020, at 6 p.m.

WHERE: Anywhere!

COVERAGE: HACC President and CEO John J. “Ski” Sygielski, MBA, Ed.D., will virtually confer degrees, diplomas and certificates to HACC graduates and students.

The virtual ceremony will include brief remarks from HACC leadership, a graduating student, faculty member and alumna.

Among the graduates is the fall 2020 student speaker, Kathy Naylor. Naylor is graduating with an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in early care and education and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and The National Society of Collegiate Scholars. As a teacher, Naylor works to empower every child, parent and co-worker that walks through the door.
