PENN STATE YORK: York LaunchBox offers virtual program Oct. 28

Penn State York issued the following announcement.

Mark your calendar for Oct. 28 when the York LaunchBox presents speakers from Cooking with the Pros and Susquehanna SCORE.  The question-and-answer session, at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom, is free and open to the public.

Jennifer Heasley, Cooking with the Pros owner, founder, and an entrepreneur, will share her story of starting her own business.  John Tile, the Susquehanna SCORE Chapter chairperson, will share information about this year’s Next Step Grant, which Heasley won last year.

The York LaunchBox, powered by Penn State, opened virtually in September.  York LaunchBox is open both to community members and those affiliated with Penn State York. No affiliation with Penn State is necessary to access resources.

  • Kelly Wylam, director of Innovation Partnership, will discuss how to access Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grants through the Ben Franklin Partnership.
