HARRISBURG AREA COMMUNITY COLLEGE: HACC Foundation Allocates Over $526,000 for Key HACC Projects

Harrisburg Area Community College issued the following announcement.

The HACC Foundation recently provided funding for key projects at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.

The HACC Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises private contributions in support of HACC, approved $526,600 for projects at the College. This funding is made possible through generous contributions from individual and organizational donors.

The HACC Foundation funded the following projects

Bruce E. Cooper Student Center Debt Service Payment for FY20-21Funding will pay a portion of the 2020-21 annual debt service payment for the renovated Bruce E. Cooper Student Center.$351,000

Senator John J. Shumaker Public Safety Center (PSC) Debt ServiceFunds will be used to subsidize the debt service for PSC's bond.$167,950

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Yearly FundingFunding will support conference travel for students in PTK and membership assistance for students who need financial assistance. Funding provides high-performing students access to opportunities they would not normally receive.$7,650
