Lloyd Smucker, a U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania's 11th district since 2017, has been active on social media discussing various legislative and national matters. Born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Smucker succeeded Joe Pitts in Congress and previously served in the Pennsylvania Senate from 2009 to 2016.

On February 5, 2025, Rep. Lloyd Smucker expressed gratitude towards several colleagues for their support of the Primary Care Enhancement Act. He stated: "Thanks to @RepDanCrenshaw, @RepJimmyPanetta, @RepSchneider, @RepKimSchrier, and @RepTenney for their support in leading the Primary Care Enhancement Act."

The following day on February 6, he shared his experience at a national event attended by former President Trump. Smucker remarked: "Great to be with my congressional colleagues and hear from President Trump at this morning’s National Prayer Breakfast. May God continue to bless the United States of America."

Later that same day, Rep. Smucker addressed a critical issue affecting his constituents and others nationwide regarding opioid abuse. He noted: "Fentanyl and related synthetic opioids have caused too much heartache for too many families in PA-11 and across the nation."
