Rep. Lloyd Smucker shares thoughts on violence, communication, and congressional discussions

Rep. Lloyd Smucker has recently shared thoughts and updates with constituents via his social media platform. As a current U.S. Congress member representing Pennsylvania’s 11th district since 2017, replacing Joe Pitts, Smucker regularly communicates to keep the public informed on various matters.

On April 14, 2025, Rep. Smucker remarked on a recent incident at the Governor's mansion, describing the "photos and details regarding the horrific incident" as "deeply disturbing and unsettling." He expressed gratitude that "@GovernorShapiro and his family are safe," emphasizing that "violence and hatred have no place here."

Later that day, he encouraged his followers to read the latest edition of his e-newsletter. Smucker invited constituents to "sign up to receive the next edition to have the latest news from PA-11 sent directly to your inbox!"

On April 15, 2025, Smucker shared his experience from a morning discussion at WLCH Radio Centro studio in Lancaster with Carlos and Lazaro. He appreciated the opportunity to be back to talk about "the latest happenings in Washington including budget reconciliation."

Lloyd Smucker has served in the U.S. Congress, representing Pennsylvania's 11th District, since 2017. He previously served in the Pennsylvania Senate from 2009 to 2016.
