On April 19, 2025, Reschenthaler asserted his support for President Trump, stating, "After nearly 90 days under President Trump, he has singlehandedly secured our border. We didn’t need new laws — America simply needed a new president."

Reschenthaler has been serving in the U.S. Congress since 2019, after replacing Conor Lamb. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1983 and continues to reside in Peters Township.
